Manmohan's Health Guides for You

A Surgeon's Attempt to Cut Confusion

Clear Answers. No Googling. No Guesswork.

You Know This Feeling

Three moments almost every patient recognizes — and the reason these guides exist.

Midnight, and You're Still Searching

The appointment is over, but the questions aren't. So you end up here — scrolling through search results at 11pm, trying to piece together what your own doctor didn't have time to fully explain.

Three Doctors, Three Different Answers

Second and third opinions are supposed to bring clarity. Often they just bring more prescriptions, more names, and less certainty about which path is actually right for you.

A doctor listing every possible treatment option and telling the confused patient to simply choose

"I Know Everything — But You Choose"

Being handed a list of options isn't the same as being guided. What's usually missing isn't more information — it's someone willing to explain what actually matters for your situation, in plain language.

Welcome

Dr. Man Mohan Varma, MS Surgery, in surgical scrubs

I'm Dr. Manmohan Varma — I've spent over 45 years as a surgeon, treating thousands of patients across some of India's leading medical colleges and, later, in private practice.

One thing never changed in all those years: the questions patients ask after they leave the appointment. The things they wish they'd asked. The confusion that sets in once they're home, googling symptoms at midnight, or staring at a diagnosis that no one quite explained in plain language.

This is where I'm answering those questions properly — one topic at a time, in guides written the way I'd explain things to my own patients: honestly, without jargon, and without rushing you.
